Kayo Aramaki, who belongs to a research institute and knows well about love of young people, mentioned three points.
One reason is that people started to think that a social desire is more important than a love desire. Everyone has a social desire. People want to contribute to society and be recognized by other people. Nowadays, there are many tools which meet social desires such as SNS.
Also, they have the ability to control the desire of love. It is said that they acquire such skill in high school years from studying for college entrance exams. Sexual desire reaches its peak at puberty. Since high school students are busy preparing for the college entrance exams, they control their sexual desire. So, the chances of loving someone gradually decrease.

② Young people are reluctant towards relationships because in a relationship, it is important for the two to communicate face to face.

She also said that young generation came to think that love is troublesome. It is natural to think this way because whether it goes well or not also depends on the other person.Relationship sometimes involves rivalries, betrayal, and lying. What made love like this? It is SNS. You have no way to know about the other person’s appearance and voice so it makes it difficult for you to understand his/her feelings. That is why young people are reluctant towards relationships because in a relationship, it is important for the two to communicate face to face.
Then how should young people try to love? What makes love valuable? Love is ultimate communication. At last she said that it was natural to think love is troublesome and we grow through the experience. However, she wants you to recognize the unique value of love. Only when you have a relationship, you can trust the other fully and cry or have a good time with your loving. We have to make sure that we were born from our parent’s love.
